If your local Internet provider doesn't have the newsgroups you want read, Digital Equipment Corporation makes many of them available through their "Alta Vista" search engine. (Actually, you can use these to pull up messages from your local provider, which is a bit faster.)
Try the forms if you're able to use them. If your browser can't handle the forms, skip down to the No Forms Section.
Forms:
Specify a start date in the form 2/jan/96, then activate the button beside it. If you don't give a date, you'll only get the 1000 oldest matching messages.
The first group of newsgroups appear to be subscribed to and indexed by AltaVista. They are arranged here is such a way that all listings exclude and messages which appear in the newsgroups above them. This eliminates you having to see the same message twice.
The following do not seem to be indexed by AltaVista, so only messages cross-posted to other groups are available (for this reason all cross-posts to other Scouting groups are included in these searches):
