Scouting in the Regional Municipality of Durham

Within the Regional Municipality of Durham, five district councils of Scouts Canada (formerly known as "Boy Scouts of Canada") are operating. These are all part of the White Pine Region of Scouting:

Owasco District (Towns of Ajax and Pickering)
Whitby Area (Town of Whitby)
- 1st Whitby Group
- 4th Whitby Scout Troop
Oshawa District (City of Oshawa)
- 4th Oshawa Group
Pine Ridge District (Scugog, Uxbridge, and Brock)
West Durham District (Town of Clarington)
